Brief Description:

Disney ABC Television Group is offering Freeform Programming & Development Internship (DATG) (CA) for fall 2018. Interns must have a knowledge and excitement for freeform programming. All candidates must be at least 18 years old. This is an unpaid internship programme available for international students. Freeform entertains and connects to audiences with bold, relatable programming that celebrates the epic adventure of becoming an adult, from first kiss to first kid. Freeform’s programming is a combination of network-defining original series and original movies, quality acquired series, and blockbuster theatricals. Freeform is also the destination for annual holiday events with “13 Nights of Halloween” and “25 Days of Christmas.”

Eligibility Criteria:

What You Bring to the Role:
-A knowledge and excitement for Freeform programming.
-Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
-Proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
-Previous internship experience within media/entertainment, working in an office setting.
-Exceptional phone, email, and interpersonal etiquette.
-Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
-A strong passion and career desire to be part of the television industry.

PLUS:
-All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
-All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
-All candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months – OR – be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Program in order to qualify for this internship.
-All candidates must be available during the months of September through December for the Fall internship program.
-All candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday 40 hours/week in Burbank, CA.
-All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
-All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year, or a recent graduate within six months of graduation.
-Experience fielding calls and answering multi-line telephones.
